Randy is known to be the longest-running judge on American Idol and he’d never lose the chance to appreciate the talent show.
“Well, being on the show, being overweight, having mirrors in my house because on Idol, different than any other show, I think it’s the greatest music game show ever, because we were really real with contestants,” Randy Jackson told Dr. Oz years ago. “If you said to a contestant, you may need to drop some weight because you’re trying to build stars, you’ve got to work on your image and they would look at me.”

In 2003, the singer lost almost 114 pounds (52 kgs) on purpose because the doctors told him to. The weight loss was part of his type 2 diabetes treatment.
