In an interview just last month, Coolio expressed his angst towards music streaming platforms. The rapper flat out said that “musicians are being robbed due to music streaming platforms.”
The rapper explained that he’s disappointed and still confused how people let music streaming platforms go this far. He expressed that without people being able to buy a CD, artists are actually losing money and they’ll never know what making platinum and golden albums feel like.
He then hinted in the interview that he is working on something against the billion-dollar music streaming platforms that are making more money than the actual artists.
