It’s shocking that Townsend is SNITCHING about Marjorie and Steve Harvey, despite everything they did to help free him from prison.
You see, Marjorie was reportedly under investigation by the FBI during their marriage, as Townsend was labeled a ‘drug lord’. Marjorie was investigated under the assumption that she was involved in the illegal activities with Jim. She was never charged with a drug crime, however, her association with Townsend brought unnecessary attention to her and her children.
Eventually, in the early 90s, Jim was caught in an undercover sting operation and was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1992. However, in January 2017, former President Barack Obama pardoned Jim – after his ex-wife and Steve Harvey helped free him.
And despite everything they did for him, he is going around snitching about the couple like that.
