The news of his death was shared on a GoFundMe page which was set up by wife. She was asking for help to raise funds to fly his body back to his hometown of Otorohanga, New Zealand. She wrote, “Today my heart is heavy and sad, I lost my best friend, Husband and the Father to our Son.”
