For starters, Darrell, 39, was running from the law when the accident took place. Second, he was reportedly accused of pimping women out including his own baby mama when she was only 16-years-old.
All that aside, it’s sad that so many lives were lost and numerous injured because of one person’s irresponsible driving. Police revealed that they tried their best to stop Darrell and avoid the accident but also had to factor in the public on the road.

“When the suspect was driving through and into the crowd, one officer did discharge his firearm and fire shots at the suspect to stop the threat but due to the amount of people, had to stop, stop and fire — not fire any other additional shots,” Thompson said.
