As the team was doing their best to gently transfer the skull to the truck bed, a strap snapped with a loud “thwack” that made everyone present collectively skip a heartbeat. One of the tusks was left hanging on the brink of destruction. Fortunately, the other straps held out and the ancient artefact sustained no damage from the slip.
With the whole thing finally on the truck, every piece still intact, the next part of the challenge loomed into view: getting everything safely back to the museum for further study. While they were concerned about the rough rural roads ahead, what the professor and his students didn’t know was that they were still in for another significant discovery…
