The couple had been together a long time but only decided to get married after Tracy Morgan’s near death experience in June 2014 when his car was hit by a Walmart truck. The fatal accident left him in a wheelchair for months and his close friend James McNair who was driving, was killed in the accident.
His then-fiance Megan Wollover stuck by him through that devastating time. 14 months after the accident, Morgan and Megan finally tied the knot.
When sharing his recovery journey with People, Morgan said: “I don’t want to walk my wife down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair. So I had to go hard with the therapy I had to get better. There was no ifs, ands or buts about it.”
