“They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship,” a source revealed after their breakup.
Shortly after the breakup, Common made comments about the split which Haddish wasn’t happy with. In an interview, Haddish expressed that she was disappointed with Common’s comments on the split as they didn’t align with what they discussed in private.
“I was disappointed,” she said on Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored with Jason Lee. “I was very disappointed. I was like, ‘Oh, OK. ‘Cause that’s not what you told me, but OK.’”
“He might be the type of person that never really settles with somebody. Maybe he’s like, you know, like a bee going from flower to flower to flower,” she added. “I don’t know. I wish him nothing but joy and happiness, you know. He will always be cool.”

“I miss him. I miss him from time to time, but that’s with, I think, any intimate relationship that you might have. You miss them,” she continued. “But I’m fine with it. It’s cool.”
