After his arrest, it was first revealed that Tekashi 6ix9ine could face a mandatory sentence of 47 years in prison. However, later, court documents revealed that the rapper agreed to expose and testify against fellow gang members, which would decrease his jail time as a result.

Last week it was reported that the rapper’s testimony against fellow gang members worked in his favor as Nine Trey Gangster Bloods members were found guilty of racketeering, drug distribution, and other charges.
