Steve explained that he decided to “create a home with love,” and invited anyone into it that was willing to accept the family.
The 66-year-old comedian shared that he loved Marjorie and was ready to do anything to marry her.
He added, that Lori eventually came around because she lived with Steve and Marjorie at the house along with their four other kids. But the two eldest twin daughters and another daughter Morgan didn’t grow up in the home with Marjorie, so they didn’t really get to know her.
The TV personality didn’t elaborate much about the situation with his girls now, however according to reports, they haven’t been on the best of terms for a while now.
Harvey’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth with his twin daughters as he took off to focus on his acting and comedian career when the girls were really young.
“I’m married, I have twins [Brandi and Karli, now 33]. I’m supposed to provide for them, but I had to take this chance,” he explained during an interview in 2016.
“Years later they said to me, ‘Dad, we didn’t understand why you left us, but we know now you had to go. You didn’t just belong to us. You belonged to the world,'” Harvey recalled.
