The baby was still in the hospital when it happened. He was apparently in the neonatal intensive care unit, when he eventually passed away. A dry erase board outside his room had the words “Love + Light” written on it under the “Plan for the Day.”
The family hasn’t revealed the cause of the baby’s death just yet. But Corde wrote on Instagram: “My son did all he needed to do in his 10 days here on earth. He has now graduated and continuing to do work. He died in my arms and that feeling of energy will never leave me.”
