Among the people who voiced their concerns over Jay Z and NFL are Eric Reid and Colin Kapernick‘s partner Nessa Diab. They didn’t like idea that the deal seemed to exclude any concessions toward the blackballed quarterback. Uproxx’s Andre Gee also wrote that people didn’t understand Jay’s commitment to capitalism.

And while Jay tried to defend the deal and explain that this is about the “next thing,” he didn’t manage to stop all the skeptics.
