Omar and Hirsi first married in 2002 and then divorced in 2008. In 2009, Omar married British born Ahmed Elmi and the couple split in 2017.
Omar and Hirsi restarted their romance and remarried in 2018.

Tim Mynett, nor Ilhan Omar have confirmed their affair yet.
“I have no interest in allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue and so I have no desire to discuss it,” Omar said in an interview.
