According to the lawsuit, the blackmailing began in 2018, and continued for more than a year. Then when the student discussed the issue with Brownlee, he said that he was getting similar message of blackmail and that the blackmailer is asking him and the student to engage in sex*al activity.
Williams refused at first but after persistent blackmailing, he gave in to the request.
After months of torment, Williams found out that the blackmailer was none other than his assistant coach Brownlee.
Juan Dixon and the university have been named in the lawsuit aswell.
“The coach should have known better than to put this person in a position of seniority,” William’s attorney said.
