Besides Donovon, eight people were injured and were taken to local hospitals with their conditions ranging from serious to life-threatening. Donovon Lynch was shot dead by a police officer in a third incident, which happened when officers were investigating the original shootings and shots were fired nearby, police chief Paul Neudigate said.
Pharrell took it to social media to mourn him.
