João Teixeira de Faria, who was once known as a celebrity faith healer — received an additional sentence of 99 years during his court hearing on July 10, for his disgusting sexual crimes.
Justice was served after the judge declared Faria guilty of the ‘rape of vulnerable persons’ and ‘sexual violation through fraud’ against 8 victims who Faria took under his wings and claimed to offer them spiritual guidance between 2010 and 2018.
His latest sentence brought his total prison time to 370 years, 9 months, and 15 days.
