One of the officers, Kory York has been suspended without pay after the body cam video was released. York was the one seen kicking and dragging Greene on the ground.
A second officer who also brutalized Greene was Chris Hollingsworth, who was heard in an audio clip admitted that he “beat the ever-living f— out of Greene before he all of a sudden he just went limp.”
“The AP last year published a 27-second audio clip from Hollingsworth’s body camera in which he can be heard telling a colleague, I beat the ever-living f— out of” Greene before he “all of a sudden he just went limp.”
Officer Hollingsworth was FIRED and shortly after his termination, he died in a single-car crash.
Philadelphia civil rights attorney Mark Maguire says that the “suspension of office Kory York is just a start”. Greene’s case is being investigated further and the family will get the justice they deserve.
