More than ten years earlier, Ima and Djalta, two male gorillas raised from infancy to adulthood by Damian, were released back into the wild at a protected habitat. All those years in between had been eating away at Damian’s heart until he reached a point where he just had to go and see how they were doing as wild animals.
Damian decided to look for them, leading an expedition along with his new wife, Victoria. Everyone expected quite an emotional reunion, but what happened when they finally found the two primates amounted to so much more than that.
