The first thing that Damian and Victoria did before getting their boat closer to Djalta and Ima was to turn the drones off. The last thing they wanted was a weird sound startling them and releasing nature’s version of The Hulk.
The team paddled slowly while trying to interpret the primate pair’s body language. It’s tough to know if a gorilla feels comfortable around humans, so they had to be extremely observant and cautious. Everything was quiet and the tension was thick.
