Everyone involved in the gorilla-finding expedition knew they were in for an adventure. They flew from the UK to the coastal central-African country of Gabon, but that was just the first minuscule step in their monumental quest.
The group had to trek through challenging landscapes and make it through a daunting boat ride from civilization to the depths of the jungle. There were GPS locators attached to the gorillas, but those only transmitted a general location.
