According to Jorgensen, the US government was not very helpful when he was doing his research for the documentary. He said there were a lot of cover-ups by the government, and even numerous attempts to wilfully mislead him. The government hoped that this would throw Jorgensen off, but he was not going to give up that easily.
Jorgensen recalled one instance in which one of his government contacts informed him that they had located Robertson’s brother and sister and that they were already in the process of doing a DNA test. However, Robertson’s brother had long-since passed away, and his sister – who Jorgensen and Faunce met – claimed that she was never contacted by anyone in the government regarding her missing brother.
