Most of Robertson’s closest friends and family were convinced that the man found living in the jungle in Vietnam was the same man that they had known and loved. Robertson’s sister was particularly adamant that the man she had met in Edmonton that December was her brother returned from the dead. For this reason, she too refused a DNA test.
However, DNA test results from other family members showed, once again, that the man from Vietnam was not John Hartley Robertson. This was another devastating blow to Robertson’s family and friends who had been desperately holding on to the belief that he was still alive. If this man was not John Hartley Robertson, who on Earth was he?
