On the evening of April 16, Remy Ma assaulted Brittney Taylor which resulted in Brittney getting a swollen black eye. The incident took place at an Irving Plaza cancer charity concert.
Brittney reported the incident and Remy was charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment charges.

Following the charges, Remy surrendered to face the consequences in May.
