TV personality Lena Waithe and content executive Alana Mayo got married in late 2019. And as described by Waithe in an interview, their wedding was a spur of the moment thing. Though the pair had been engaged since 2017.
“We went to the courthouse and got married right in front of Harvey Milk’s bust,” Waithe shared at the time. “It was her idea — like all good things are — and she was just driving and she saw the courthouse and she said, ‘We should get married there,’ and I said, ‘Cool, I’m down.'”

However, their marriage was short-lived and the two decided to part ways after 2 months.
