Just two months before her death, Turner revealed that she regretted not taking better care of her kidneys as her approach put her in “great danger.”
In March, in an Instagram post, the celebrated singer opened up about her struggles with hypertension, high blood pressure that eventually led to kidney problems. Turner opened up about her own struggles in the wake of International World Kidney Day.
“My kidneys are victims of my not realizing that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine,” she began her post.
