When asked how he feels about the whole scandal, Sheriff Villanueva said that he is in complete shock and it’s a punch to the gut.

“It’s a shock and a punch to the gut,” Sheriff Villanueva said. “You know, it was such a hard scene dealing with the families firsthand, all three families were all present and assuring them that we are doing everything possible to find out more about this. It’s just a sense of betrayal.”
