Thousands of fans and many celebrities took to social media to express their shock about PnB’s sudden and senseless death.
Nicki Minaj lowkey blamed the rapper’s girlfriend stating: “After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock.”
Later, 25-year-old rapper Kodak Black, who collaborated with PnB on the track Too Many Years, also posted a tribute to the late rapper stating “he was my boy.” He also expressed anger towards the girlfriend for disclosing their location on social media.
