Vanessa Bryant was seen sobbing in the courtroom as Li talked about the most horrific day of her life when she lost her husband and daughter in the crash.
The 40-year-old mother filed a lawsuit 8 months after the crash claiming that he suffered emotional distress over the thought that the photos may someday surface on the internet. And she never wants her children to view those horrific photos.
“The gratuitous images soon became talked about within the department, as deputies displayed them to colleagues in settings that had nothing to do with investigating the accident. One deputy even used his photos of the victims to try to impress a woman at a bar, bragging about how he had been at the crash site,” Bryant’s filings allege.
