In a recent interview on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, rapper Kevin Jerome Gilyard, famously known as Kevin Gates opened up about his traumatized childhood as he revealed that he was ‘molested as a kid’.
He said that rapping became “an escape” for him and helped him cope with the trauma.

Mike Tyson, who also disclosed his childhood experiences back in 2014, said that he could relate as he has been through the same.
