Earlier today, an open-casket celebration of life ceremony was held for the late comedian. Jay Leno, his longtime friend, made the commencement speech. Then Ice Cube said a few touching words about John. He said, “John Witherspoon, man, one of the funniest people I know. He also said, “No matter how bad a script was, there was nothing you could do to harm John’s funny…he was going to turn it into magic.”
