While different investigators tried to come up with theories, lead FBI agent Phil Carson seems to believe that they will catch the murderer and solve this crime. Carson had investigated the murder and also interrogated all the suspects in 1997. He said: “If you think Greg Kading’s theory is true, then make it public and get everybody off your back and make this whole thing go away, that the theory of LAPD being involved is is incorrect. The bottom line is they’re not doing that. And the reason is that they know Greg Kading’s theory is not correct. Period.”
