The gospel singer revealed that it took a lot for them to go through it. She says she went through all the typical emotions, anger, disappointment, and that she wanted to leave. But as a Christian, Erica thought about God, and the vows she made to Warryn. She asked herself “Was he a mistake or did he make a mistake?” and decided to stay because “he was a good man that made a mistake.”

The couple went to therapy, counseled with other married couples, and talked to her bishop at church – and eventually got through it.
