Shortly after the split, affair rumors started brewing about Jeannie and Jeezy and a few weeks later, there was a photo of the two confirming the news. The photo was shared on social media by Jeannie’s close friend Malika Haqq in which Mai and Jeezy looked ‘very much like a couple’. The following week, Mai revealed to her co-hosts on The Real that ‘Jeezy is very special to her‘.
“Jeezy and I hang out,” Mai said. “He’s very special to me, so we don’t really have a label to define what it is we’re doing. We’re just having a good time together.“
This clearly stated that the two were casually dating.
