Majors was arrested on Mar 25 after his ex-girlfriend — a WHITE woman accused him of assault, strangulation, and harassment. He was released from custody later that day.
Following the first allegation, a report claimed that Majors became a suspect in multiple cases of assault and abuse. Reportedly, multiple women came forward with similar allegations and were cooperating with the New York District Attorney’s office.
Since the incident, Majors has lost BIG movie and commercial projects. The actor was dropped as a client by both the management company Entertainment 360 and the public relations firm the Lede Company.
He was expected to star in and executive produce an upcoming adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel The Man in My Basement, however he was dropped out of the project and his role will likely be re-cast.
The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor’s invitation to the 2023 Met Gala was also rescinded following the incident.
