In the room, they found three small bags of crystal meth. When inquired, Andrew denied using any meth and claimed that he was in town for a friend’s wedding. He was not charged with any crime and was allowed to leave the hotel after getting checked by the medics.
“While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines,” Andrew said. “I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused for our movement.”

According to officers, Andrew was in a bad state and was found vomiting in the bathroom due to which he was unable to talk much.
