The entertainment company chose to share a photo of Blue Ivy that was originally posted by Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles.

Mathew Knowles shared an adorable photo of Blue and wrote: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful and oldest granddaughter Blue Ivy. Love, Papa G.”
Later in the day, E! News’ social media staff picked the same photo to post a birthday message for Blue and referred to her as an “adult”.
