Zaya Wade came out as transgender in 2020 and since then has been going by her new name Zaya (unofficially). However, with support from her loving father Dwyane Wade and stepmother Gabrielle Union, she got a chance to change her name and gender LEGALLY.

According to a ruling filed in Los Angeles’ Superior Court, the 15-year-old is now legally Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade.
