So after she called Dwyane out for being a bad parent and “exploiting” their daughter for money, the former NBA star couldn’t just sit on it. The 40-year-old father of four, who is currently traveling to Africa, took to social media to share his side of the story and call his ex-wife’s claims of exploiting their daughter BS.

“Dwyane is positioned to profit from the minor child’s name and gender change with various companies through contacts and marketing opportunities including but not limited to deals with Disney,” Funches said yesterday.
“I have concerns that [Wade] may be pressuring our child to move forward with the name and gender change in order to capitalize on the financial opportunities that he has received from companies,” she added.
