Everyone knows Britain’s Royal Navy, but there’s another navy of its kind known to have quite an artillery. The official naval force of Thailand is called the Royal Thai Navy or RTN for short. They’ve been around ever since the 19th century and have been receiving constant upgrades that will make them a solid contender should war break out in the region.
The RTN is composed of seven corvettes, seven frigates, 32 patrol crafts, seven mine warfare vessels, and an aircraft carrier. Adding to that, they also receive a total defense budget of $9.4 billion and have a total of 81 naval assets.
