It wouldn’t be a legit list of the world’s strongest marine forces without the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy. Not only do they have quite an impressive naval artillery, but they were also able to maintain warships that they used to win their battles against France.
The Royal Navy’s origin dates back to the 16th century, and longevity is always an advantage when it comes to warfare. Right now, the Royal Navy receives a total defense budget of $50 billion. They own six corvettes, 13 frigates, two aircraft carriers, 21 patrol crafts, 13 mine warfare vessels, ten submarines, and six destroyers for a total of 76 naval assets.
