With an allotment of $315 million for defense, the Bolivian Navy was able to accumulate a total of 173 naval assets to defend their seas.
Recent studies revealed that today, they have over 5,000 maritime soldiers. Bolivia was landlocked in 1904 amid the War of the Pacific, but that didn’t stop them from creating a River and Lake Force in 1963 with the help of the Ministry of National Defense.
