Another country with a massive maritime territorial area is Bangladesh. Known to have a coastline that stretches up to 118,813 square kilometers (45, 874 square miles), the Bangladesh Navy needs to be as big as it possibly can.
To protect their country from any possible threat, the Bangladesh government allows a total amount of $1.6 billion to be used for the defense budget. The nation owns 89 naval assets in total, including five mine warfare vessels, two submarines, six frigates, four corvettes, and 30 patrol crafts among others.
