On Thursday, Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill issued a gag order on all four police officers’ attorneys. The gag order was issued after the judge pointed out that two or more attorney’s reveal information to the media.
The said explained that any pretrial publicity will affect the decisions of the jury and “will impair all parties right to a fair trial”.
The transcripts were made public after one of the four officers charged for the murder of George Floyd requested that the case against him be dismissed.
Thomas Lane’s attorney said in a statement that there isn’t probable cause to charge his client.
