Tekashi may have a hard time after his release, for a while at least and the rapper is already planning on hiring the best bodyguard team to protect him from potential threats.
Despite the fear and possible backlash since he snitched on his gang members, Tekashi refused the federal witness protection program.
Tekashi would have faced up to 37 years in any other situation, however, his sentence was reduced as he testified against the other members.
