After the screenshot, Candace argued that Cardi fell for a doctored screenshot, then she claimed that she would get lawyers involved for Cardi’s “slandering” of her husband, “a private citizen,” adding, “Just spoke with my family. I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense,” shortly thereafter. Cardi has since threatened to sue Owens for the accusation.
We’ll see if they follow through.
