Now Dr. Madden is receiving numerous praises on social media for her proactive move to save the patient’s life. Many are also giving credit to her race as only a Black woman would have been able to prevent a catastrophe in such a situation as no other doctor or nurse knew what to do.
Her story is now going viral with people using the hashtag #BlackDoctorsMatter.
