Maria Elena Ríos shared posts accusing the actor of sexual assault after an activist organization based in Mexico, Poder Prieto, released a podcast online involving her. According to Maria, she did not give the organization consent to release that podcast or anything else involving her. She also revealed that Huerta is a spokesperson for the organization, a collective of actors, members of the media and other figures working to fight racism and other issues in the industry.
