Melle Mel born Melvin Glover was arrested on Monday and taken to Los Angeles county jail after he smashed his lady Jori Jordan’s eye. Jordan took to social media about the incident and even shared a video of Melle Mel being arrested in his hotel room.

Jordan and Melle who have known each other for over two decades have reportedly been in an on-again, off-again relationship for many years. According to Jordan, the two attended an after party for the BET awards in Los Angeles, and a really nice evening overall. She said that later that evening, Melle Mel invited her to his hotel room where she claims the attack happened.
