In an interesting twist, Professor Fisher’s research revealed that the remains had been handled once before by human hands. Since humans used to hunt mammoths for food, they might have caught this specific animal and eaten it.
That, or they might have found it already dead and tried to scavenge the remains for whatever use they could get out of it. There are endless possibilities!
