Millard Fillmore – IQ 149
Despite having an IQ of 149, Millard Filmore made himself a slave to his heart. When he was a teenager, he asked a young woman just two years his junior to marry him… and she accepted the proposal! Why are some of the most intelligent leaders so crazy in love? It seemed that Fillmore was more focused on his emotions than the interests of his country and his people. Apparently, his term pushed the country into the Civil War.
The 13th president of the United States is best remembered for lacking popularity. Indeed, Fillmore consistently ranked as one of the worst presidents of America. With little significant legacy left to the nation, it’s hard to have any love for a man whose intellect was not put to good use.
